Jayathurathnage, P., et al. (2017). Effects of Adjacent Transmitter Current for Multi-Transmitter Wireless Power Transfer. IEEE Southern Power Electronics Conference (SPEC), Puerto Varas, CHILE, Ieee.

This paper presents an analysis of the effect of the adjacent transmitter current for a multi-transmitter wireless power transfer system (WPT). When multiple transmitter coils are simultaneously excited with high-frequency sources, the effective magnetic field distribution depends on the amplitude and the phase difference between transmitter currents. The analysis of this paper provides an insight into the effects of transmitter current distribution to the system level performance indices such as power transfer efficiency and transferred power.
