Abstract: The use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) continues to evolve and is recognized as an important adjunct as a bridge to recovery or a bridge to transplant. We wanted to share our experience of using veno-arterial (VA) ECMO as an adjunct to lung recovery and an aide for fluid resuscitation.
