Dr Eric Wu awarded PhD
Congratulations to Dr Eric Wu, on being awarded his PhD entitled “Talking Heart to Bionic Heart - Improving the Haemodynamic Response with a Rotary Blood Pump Management System”.
Eric’s PhD project focused on improving monitoring and delivery of blood flow with implantable rotary blood pumps. At the time of his PhD being awarded, Eric had published 10 peer-reviewed articles, presented at 12 international conferences, and received over $80K in grants as chief investigator and awards.
While completing his research degree, Eric also undertook research internships at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and Medical University of Vienna (Austria), as well as an industry internship at Procyrion (USA). He also participates as a core team member in the young European Society for Artificial Organs.
Eric has played a key role in so many areas of CCRG and we wish him all the best with his future work.
